Manny Pacquiao Official Music Video : "Lalaban Ako Para Sa Filipino"

The Filipino Champ, Manny 'PacMan' Pacquiao and team has created a music video for his upcoming fight with Floyd Mayweather entitled Lalaban Ako Para sa Filipino [ I Will Fight for Filipinos ].

Below is the music video in Filipino [Tagalog].

And here's the English lyrics of the Official Music Video "Lalaban Ako Para Sa Filipino" :

I always ask in my mind why do we have to judge what you feel?
what should be the right basis so they can listen to us?
do we have to be in a good status?

even if i hurt myself, i still wanted to keep it within me and just be silent about it.
even if my heart aches, its nothing to me as long as people from my country show their smiles and felt happy.
I will fight the whole world for my country bringing your name
IM A PINOY. we are PINOY
I will fight the world with my life at stake.
I will fight for all FILIPINO

Even us, has our own dreams for our country
to help fellow countrymen, and give pride for our very own country
it doesn't matter who you are. POOR or RICH if for the country we all fight together.

I will fight the whole world for my country bringing your name
IM A PINOY. we are PINOY
I will fight the world with my life at stake.
I will fight for all FILIPINO

I WILL FIGHT, I WILL FIGHT
I will fight the whole world for my country bringing your name
IM A PINOY. we are PINOY
I will fight the world with my life at stake.
I will fight for all Filipino
I will fight for my COUNTRY.

Manny Pacquiao Lost Against Tim Bradley

The decision is final. Timothy 'Desert Storm' Bradley is the new WBO Welterweight Champion. Manny lost against Tim Bradley on a controversial split decision, 113-115 / 113-115 / 115-113.

The 3 judges are Duane Ford who scored 113-115 (Bradley), C.J. Ross scored 113-115 (Bradley) and Jerry Roth scored 115-113 (Pacquiao).

The fight was good. I give the first round for Bradley co'z Pacman seems he doesn't heat-up enough on the start. However, I gave 2nd to 9th rounds for Pacman who fought a good fight against the running-around Tim (thought Timothy Bradley is a brawler and I expect a toe to toe fight). And even though Bradley dominate 10th to 12th round, I think it's not an excuse to give him the WBO Welterweight Crown. Also the crowd seems didn't agree about the result, but sad to say the decision is final.

I think this is the worst fight of Manny Pacquaio, but Manny still remain cool and accept his defeat like a real warrior.

As the people's champ says, 'I respect their decision, but I think I won'.

And even Bradley seemed surprised after hearing the decision. He was all booed by the crowd after the fight.  The judges' decision are controversial, but final decision is final decision.

So, it's better to watch out for the rematch on November 10, between the newly crowned WBO Welterweight Champion, Tim Bradley vs the Philippine icon, Manny 'Pacman' Pacquiao.

Margarito Cleared to Fight Pacquiao in Texas

It's final, the much anticipated junior middle weight title fight between the Filipino boxing superstar Manny 'Pacman' Pacquiao and the former welterweight champion from Mexico, Antonio 'Tony' Margarito will be held November 13 at the Dallas Cowboy Stadium.

Antonio Margarito got the go signal to return to the boxing arena after he got cleared by the Texas Department of Lisensing and Regulation. As you remember, California Athletic State Commission revoked Margarito's license, along with his trainer Javier Capetillo, after the Commission found evidence that an embedded plastic like substance wraps on Margarito's hands prior to his fight against Shane Mosley last January 2009.

"After a thorough review of his application, it was determined Mr. Margarito met the requirements of the Texas Combative Sports Acts and Rules, " Executive Director William Kuntz said in a statement posted on the department's website.

The reinstatement was made days after his application to fight faced uncertainties in California and Nevada. So, watch out for the coming fight of Pacman and Margarito.

Below is the sched for 3 cities press tour hosted by Bob Arum and HBO. Sales of the tickets for the upcoming fight between Pacquiao vs Margarito will also be announced on the said press tour. (via watchpacquiao.info)

Michael Moorer Fired by Freddie Roach
by Brad Cooney - 8CountNews

Freddie Roach, the Trainer of Year awardee and the coach of the world's #1 pound-for-pound boxer, Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao, has fired his assistant trainer Michael Moorer.

The primary reason was there's personality conflict between Moorer and Manny Pacquiao, and he (Moorer) and Amir Khan, according of 8CN.

Freddie went on to say,
Amir Kahn approached me and said; Freddie I want you to be my trainer, not Michael Moorer

quoted by Brad Cooney of 8CountNews.com. Also according to Roach, Pacquiao's sentiments are the same concerning Moorer.

Roach ask Moorer to leave his position at the gym due to a conflict of personalities that had been creating issues amongst the Wild Card stable.

Freddie Roach also wants to clear that there were no hard feelings between them when he fired Moorer from his Wild Card Gym, instead give him thanks for his contribution and involvement on the said gym.

Michael Moorer is a former world heavyweight champion with a record of 52 wins, 40 knockouts, 4 losses and 1 draw. He had WBO, WBA and IBF heavyweight titles under his belt prior to his retirement as a professional boxer.

::Pacquiao lets his fists do the talking

:: PACQUIAO LETS HIS FISTS DO THE TALKING

By Roy Luarca - Philippine Daily Inquirer

MANILA, Philippines—Manny Pacquiao, as always, refuses to be drawn into a war of words with Ricky Hatton.

The Filipino ring superstar would rather let his fighting do the talking when he faces Hatton for the British icon’s IBO light welterweight title on May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“Let’s just see what happens in the ring,” said Pacquiao, when asked by Filipino sportswriters for comment on Hatton’s boast on Thursday in Manchester, England, that he’s unbeatable at 140 lb.

“He can say what he wants, I’ll just give it my best,” said the Filipino, who is coming off an eight-round demolition of Oscar De La Hoya.

Admitting that Hatton will be a tougher foe, Pacquiao bared Friday night that he’ll be leaving on Feb. 24 for the United States to begin training at Freddie Roach’s Wild Card Gym in Hollywood.

Pacquiao added he’ll attend the christening of his daughter, Queen Elizabeth, on Feb. 22 in Gen. Santos City before beginning his preparations for the megabuck bout that will include a promotional tour of key cities in Britain and the United States.

Hatton, whose only loss was dealt by Floyd Mayweather Jr. at 147 lb in May, 2007, intends to begin training two weeks earlier after taking his family to a Caribbean cruise.

According to Hatton, he won’t let his countrymen down a second time by beating Pacquiao and claiming the Filipino’s world’s best pound-for-pound fighter label.
